To be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, analysis of expense accounts as well as balance sheet accounts recommending accruals and adjustments as needed. Prepares various account reconciliations that include banks, investments and other balance sheet activity. Review financial results with Assistant Treasurer and Accounting Manager to ensure reporting of financial results.

Computer skills, including the operation of computerized spreadsheet programs and database software that includes Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. 2. Strong accounting background with emphasis in general ledger review and account reconciliation. 3. Mathematical skills, including ability to operate 10-key calculator by touch. 4. Ability to communicate orally with others and effectively interacts with administration, faculty, staff and outside contacts while maintaining confidentiality. 5. Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments. Moderate to high skill level of complex problem solving. 6. Able to operate independently with a minimal amount of guidance. 7. Quick learner able to demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
1. Education: Any combination of education or experience that is equivalent to a Bachelor degree in Accounting, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years accounting background using computerized accounting systems, preferably Banner.
