Job Summary:
This position will serve as the lead for program assessment development and implementation. The position is responsible for understanding, managing, analyzing, and visualizing graduate data, working with faculty, Curriculum Committee, Office of Academic Affairs and other pertinent bodies. This includes data analytics and projections, writing reports and maintaining public-facing dashboards, sharing and distributing data in manageable formats for the purposes of reporting, accreditation, graduate assessment, and for college, and campus decision-making. This position aims to disaggregate data to promote diversity, inclusion, just outcomes, and significantly advance our student success, diversity, and strategic plan goals by helping us track, report, and strategically respond to trends in the data.
Position reports to and is evaluated by the Dean.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

4. Ability to successfully interact with faculty and with other departments and functional areas as an insightful listener and problem solver. 5. Ability to prepare and present professional reports, proposals and research findings to various stakeholder groups in both written and oral form. 6. Ability to analyze statistical and mathematical data, and remove required information from it, including a working knowledge of most of the statistical software and programs. 7. Ability to establish priorities and implement strategies to achieve desired outcomes. 8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and advance knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and SPSS.
9. Ability to create assessment dashboards.
Required Qualifications:
-Education: Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the
required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in the subject field of statistics is preferred. This position requires successful completion of coursework in statistics, computer science, quantitative methods, data analysis, data management, computer science, or management information systems.
-Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in statistical analysis in an academic setting or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should demonstrate expertise in various methods of data visualization and representation, data management, data analysis, and report writing, as well as proficiency in at least one statistical analysis program and Excel. Preferred skills include higher education experience, SPSS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, and/or similar systems skills, programming skills/experience, and/or survey design and analysis.
