Position Title: Photographer and Video Producer

Job Summary:
Provide artistic, creative, and skilled photography, videography and digital asset administration services to the University community.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Compelling story telling using video and photographs.
Videography: Advanced skills with digital videography with experience using Adobe products/software.
Advanced knowledge and experience with Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, PhaseOne Capture One Pro 11, or equivalent RAW image editing software. Experience using video compositing software (i.e., Adobe After Effects CC, Apple Motion 5, BlackMagic Fusion) or other.
Basic storyboarding, scriptwriting, and interviewing.
Proficient in editing for a range of storytelling devices including longer-format documentary style to short-format social media videos.
Photography: Experience with various photographic techniques (HDR, 360°, compositing etc.). Establish photo brand/standards consistent with University guidelines.
Experience using video/photo management software and filing/retrieving of extensive photo libraries. Understanding of lighting techniques in studio/classroom or outside.
Maintenance of photo, video equipment and housekeeping of studio area.
Must be able to work effectively in collaboration with University customers and Public Affairs & Marketing to produce exceptional digital content.
Demonstrates a highly motivated “can do” attitude, flexibility, and strong work ethic in support of team cohesiveness.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in photography, digital video production or any combination of degree, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
