Job Summary:
Provide support to the Executive Director of Facilities and the Director of Physical Plant by: inspecting, repairs, installing, making modifications and maintaining plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies electrical, plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and take necessary corrective action.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. - Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems related to commercial office buildings. - Ability to read commercial building blueprints related to plumbing systems - Must follow all rules of safety for plumbing work performed - Must have (5) years prior experience with plumbing systems, hand tools and other tools necessary to perform the duties of this position. - Good mathematics and verbal communication skills. - Must have prior knowledge of plumbing control systems. - Must be able to interact effectively with the administration, faculty, staff and outside vendors. - Must have ability to handle detail-oriented assignments and be flexible with job assignments. Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required skills and abilities. Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. - Experience: Five (5) years plumbing experience. - Computer experience: Internet, spreadsheet and plumbing controls.

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, some evening, weekends and holidays may be required.
