Job Summary:
The Counselor will serve as a faculty member at the Assistant Professor level for the College of Graduate Nursing and will participate in college and university committees. The Counselor interacts with students, healthcare faculty, professional staff, and other program personnel to enhance and facilitate the progression, and graduation of students. In addition, the Success Coach strives to ensure the highest levels of student outcomes and program satisfaction are achieved.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports 2. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations 3. High-level written and oral communication skills to accurately present information persuasively, professionally, and accurately to groups of people 4. Entrepreneurial aptitude 5. Confidence, resilience, strong organizational skills, exceptional persistence, a high level of commitment, and the ability to guide and motivate others 6. Required Qualifications:
1. EDUCATION: Must possess a graduate degree in education, nursing, or a related field. 2. EXPERIENCE: Two years of teaching experience in higher education, current knowledge of educational practices.

Hours as determined in consultation with MSN-Entry Program Director and the Dean of the College. On campus in Pomona, CA a minimum of three days per week.
