Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the Student Services Coordinator is to enhance the effectiveness of the Graduate Programs in the College of Pharmacy by supporting its Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Programs. This is accomplished by ensuring the day to day and long-term administrative activities required to operate the College’s graduate programs are met, properly documented, and completed in compliance with accreditation standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities. It is expected that the essential functions of this position will be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. 1. Must be able to work in a culturally diverse environment. 2. Experience in data entry and analysis (Microsoft Excel/Google Docs), and online survey creation and management (Qualtrics/Survey Money). 3. Must have excellent communication and planning skills and thrive in a multitasking environment. 4. Strong computer skills to set up document formats in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Applications Docs, Sheets, forms, and any other software program required by this position. 5. Ability to compose and/or proofread text/correspondence. 6. Basic math skills, including the ability to use and write standard MS Excel formulas to update the department budget. 7. Good verbal and written communication skills. 8. Ability to effectively interact with administration, faculty, staff, and students. 9. Familiarity with scientific and medical terminology.
Required Qualifications:
Education: BA/BS or AA/ AS degree. Experience: 2-4 years administrative assistant experience. Experience in data entry and analysis (Microsoft Excel/Google Docs), and online survey creation and management (Qualtrics/Survey Monkey).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the educational assessment protocols is highly preferred.

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Evening and weekend hour are required as needed.
